The staff here go above and beyond for their clients. I have never been treated more like a person. I felt heard while I was there and they really listened to me when I felt like I needed something changed whether it be my treatment plan or medication regimen. I came here upon successfully completing the detox & residential programs at Avatar. I was placed in a beautiful mansion house in West Milford while i do PHP & IOP level of care. I was one of the first clients in the house and it was perfectly set up with anything we needed, it was really available. If for some reason their wasn't something we needed, the techs got it for us almost immediately. Every room but the Master bedroom was a single private room. The only thing we re*ally had to share was a bathroom with one other person and the kitchen. Each bedroom also has a TV with memory foam Icomfort mattresses that has a remote control to move the bed up & down like a hospital bed. It also has a massage feature and an LED night light so if you get up in the middle of the night, you don't have to turn on any main of the main lights. The person who cleaned & set up this house perfectly, knew exactly what they were doing. I've never been to a mansion for PHP that has its own pool & hot tub. The pool even has a 2 basketball nets that can be turned into a volleyball net. We also have the pressure of playing Ping pong and pool. There's not much more you could reasonable ask for. The guy that set up the house took care of everything and made sure clients have an abundance of activities they could play and do after we get home from group. We also have a great group of guys at the house, which helped make the time go by really fast. Thr counselors are truly a blessing. They come into work with a smile everyday and are inspirational, motivational, and very caring. With this bring a smaller group, I was able to see my therapist more weekly and have a lot more 1 on 1 time. Every Counselor there pushes you to strive for greatness even if you are not in their caseload. This is the best group of counselors I've ever been around through all my treatment stays. They really helped change my life, thank you! Coming to Avatar's Outpatient program was a fantastic experience that I treasure and am grateful to all the staff that played an integral role in my Recovery process no matter how miniscule. I really started to work in myself and constantly got help when needed. If you're someone struggling with addicting or alcohols or even even mental health, Avatar is the only Treatment Facility I'd recommend, and I've been to quite a few lol. Most were court ordered, but since I had to be in treatment until my case was resolved, I'm very happy I was able to stay at Avatar as long as I did! Thank you again everyone!
