As a licensed social worker in both New York and New Jersey, Elizabeth applies a trauma-informed, healing-centered approach, weaving intentionality, impartiality, and integrity into every aspect of her work. Elizabeth holds a master’s degree in social work from Columbia University, specializing in Advanced Clinical Practice, and have received training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). With experience supporting individuals through trauma, grief, and addiction, Elizabeth offers evidence-based, personalized care tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Elizabeth’s diverse professional background, which spans psychiatric hospitals, private practice, and the nonprofit sector, enables her to provide a comprehensive and integrative approach to recovery.

In addition to my professional work, Elizabeth is deeply committed to advocating for survivors of crime and intimate partner violence. She actively engages in vigils and advocacy initiatives, working to foster healing, promote justice, and drive meaningful, lasting change through direct support, community involvement, and systemic advocacy. Outside of her professional practice as a counselor for Avatar Recovery Center, Elizabeth expresses her creativity as a licensed cosmetologist and prioritizes self-care through intuitive meditation and restorative movement, nurturing both body and soul.
